Periwinkle is now spayed and we would like her to go to a very special home where she will be the ONLY cat, as for some reason she is intimidated by other cats. Other pets are OK, as long as the are "Cat Friendly" - Periwinkle is a very sweet and nice natured cat, with lots of love to give. We want the perfect home for her and ideally, her spaying costs should be the "price" for this cat. However, if the 100% perfect home is found, this fee is negotiable too.

Our Periwinkle with some of her kittens, always were healthy and always five or six in each litter. She has a lovely nature, beautiful blue eyes and a fabulous coat colour. We'd love to find her a happy pet home, where she can get lots of cuddles, love and happiness!

We have placed both our girls in their new adoption homes.

Here is this lovely Chocolate Point Lady again. Her photo does not do her justice, as she is much more beautiful in person.

We just want her to be happy in a good pet home.
And Jamie has been chosen by a lovely family to come and live with them and be loved and cherished and get lots of cuddles!
Here is our lovely Loretta.
Loretta is a young cat, who had a difficult time having babies, so even though she is the mother of Mr Lou and he is lovely and healthy, Loretta is an early "retiree."
Loretta now has a new home!

Beautiful Jamie has now found a loving home. She will be going to her new 'parents' on 17 September 2004. We knew it was only a matter of time until she was selected by the 'right' people.
We have told Jamie and she is very excited! (She's already packed her bags and her 'blankie'.)
We have decided to spay and re-home some of our queens again this year. We have lost our Boy and we have to spay some girls who are the daughters of our other lad, Ch Wintoki Sweet Talking Man, as we don't want to breed our cats too close genetically.
The queens who are 'retiring' are:
Berengaria (Beri) is a Tortoiseshell Persian cat with the sweetest of natures. She will talk to you in her deep voice inherited from her Dad, Buccaneer. She is a chatty little thing, very friendly and loves human company. But, she is sometimes dominated by the stronger queens, and will invariably 'give way' to the pushiest of our girls. Beri would benefit from a one cat only home or a home with another cat, but not a whole lot of cats.
Another one of our ladies retiring this year is our lovely Jellybean Rose. She looks like a teen, but is really 8 1/2 years old. Jellybean Rose has always been the most exemplary of our cat mums, but good things must end someday, so though Jellybean is a healthy little cat, it's time to retire and let Crawling Grass and Athena Plum, her daughters, follow in her paw-steps. A grand lady and a wonderful queen!
Periwinkle is also due to retire very soon. Periwinkle is a Seal/Tortie Point queen, who though young in years, would benefit greatly from a one-to-one pet home situation, as she is rather a timid young cat.
More infromation to come. Watch this space !

Another one of my girls retiring from 'active duty' is Sharella Lady-in Red. She will be the last of the Sharella prefix line, as her breeder gave up the breeding of cats a few years ago.
She is a Red girl, with golden eyes.

Lady-in-Red is an older lady, so she would have to be re-homed with a quiet family/person as she is a sedate sort of cat. I would be happy to share the cost of her spaying when I find the right home for her.
Ch Hekla Sister Little Heart - Lady's daughter, is also retiring. Sissy, as we call her is an extremely loving cat, purrs unlimited, and a more caring and lovely cat would be hard to find. Her Red colour is rich, undiminished by time and babies. She has great eye colour, lovely silky red fur and is a real cute darling.
Periwinkle now retired - though earlier than the other queens. her mate is no longer with us and Periwinkle being of a very prolific natue, has had more kittens than the other girls in her short breeding career. Her health is very good, but we think that due to her timid and shy nature, she should be re-homed with someone that will appreciate her lovely and shy ways. Periwinkle is one of Tamsin's last daughters - two were born in 2003 - and she is a beautiful Seal/Tortie Smoke Point cat.
Periwinkle was born on 21 January (my Birthday!) 2003. A big and robust girl from the very start.
See above for details.
These girls will only go to a PERFECT home, as we love them to bits and they can stay here and make us poor (er) until the best of homes are found. However, if this is not to be, then they will remain with us for life!
A BIG THANK YOU TO THE FAMILIES WHO HAVE ADOPTED OUR YOUNG QUEENS AS THEIR PETS.
